·      As a go-to person for new wireless technologies, led Assessment, Planning and Engineering efforts of new wireless subsystems (such as switches, base station controllers and cellular base stations) from four major suppliers (Lucent, Motorola, Nortel and Samsung) with a view towards the next 12 to 24 months.

·      Conducted in-depth investigation and analysis of NPCS Technologies, System Design Tools and Operational Support Systems in both RF and Baseband for Enhanced Alphanumeric Paging and Two-way Messaging Services, including NPCS technologies such as Motorola’s ReFLEX 50, ReFLEX 25 and InFLEXion; AT&T’s pACT; Nexus’ Tag Paging Technology; and GWCom’s PLAN/ET.

·      Implemented a 2-Way Paging Test Bed and First Market System to launch NPCS services.

·      Completed Technology Evaluation and Field Trial of various Fault Management and Performance Management technologies including AirTouch’s FMsys and PMsys, CNET’s BOSS, IEX’s Netrac, Hewlett Packard’s HP OpenView, as well as RF system design tools such as AirTouch’s Phoenix, CNET’s WiNGS, ComSearch’s Mcap and Qsignum, and MSI’s PlaNET.
