Rare & Unique 18K Gent's Rolex President with Diamond Dial and Original 18K President Bracelet

Watch lovers and collectors take note.  This is superbly solid 18k gold vintage Rolex reference 1803 Day-Date "President" model with diamond dial and original solid 18k "President" bracelet with hidden clasp.  The original owner purchased it new from an authorized dealer in 1975.  Circa 1968, #178xxxx with fluted bezel, signed 26 jewel chronometer automatic day/date calendar movement, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, near-mint original textured golden linen dial with diamonds, gold hands and sweep seconds, date aperture at 3:00, signed screwdown crown, clear cyclops crystal with date-magnifying prism, signed solid 18k gold "President" bracelet.  This extraordinarily rare timepiece is running fine, keeping excellent time, and the calendar functions work as designed. 

The solid 18k Rolex-signed bracelet is original to the watch, and is in excellent condition with only moderate stretch and all links including all screw links.  What is rare about this piece is that it has the bark finish on the case and both side links of the bracelet.  It is really shiny and sparkling from all angles.

It received a full service from an authorized Rolex dealer TIVOL (with paper to prove) in June 2001, so it has a lot of time left before the next service is due.

As James Dowling remarks in his wonderful Rolex reference book, "The Day-Date Presidential is synonymous in America with style and success and remains as one of the most prestigious additions to a gentleman's wardrobe.  To own a Day-Date President is to claim a rare distinction."  A well-cared for Rolex lasts more than a life-time, and this watch has certainly received tender loving care from the previous owner, so be a distinguished owner of this rare and unique Rolex President with glamour and style.  Have your Rolex different than everyone else who is fortunate enough to own one.  The Shugart price guide sets the value of a near-mint non-quickset reference 1803 at $6500. Given the rarity of the style, appearance and condition, this piece is easily worth that amount.  With equivalent Rolex Presidents going for in excess of $17,000, this is a REAL CATCH!  It comes with the original box, presentation case, booklets red tag, and original certificate (this is not a gray market watch), as well as extra rare Rolex booklets.
