Collectors take note!  You don't see this set everyday.  This Longines Honour and Glory Olympic Games Limited Edition Wrist Chronograph (Circa 1999) with Split Second Pocket Chronograph (Circa 1968) is a limited edition set of only 600 sets ever issued in 2000 to commemorate the Sydney Olympic Games.  The set includes two watches.  The first is a Longines Flyback Pocket Chronograph in a 66.4mm x 25.2mm SS case with silver dial and a split chronograph scale with a vernier, useful for measure sporting events to an accuracy of a fraction of a second.  This pocket chronograph was actually used for the 1968 Olympics and it has hair lines on the case and one tiny scratch on the mineral glass crystal as evidence of its previous, historic use.  The L262 (Longines Original 1968 construction 23-jewel manual winding movement has a power reserve of 44 hours, and it is accurate to 3 seconds per day.

Accompanying this vintage Pocket Chronograph is a new, unworn wrist chronograph fashioned to match the classic.  It is in a 42mm x 14.8mm SS snap back case with sapphire crystal and display back, water resistant to 30 meters.  The silver dial has day and date at three and a vernier scale on the chronograph, like its classic companion.  The crown is unsigned, and the pushers are flat.  The watch is on a signed black leather strap with tang type buckle.  This watch is new and unworn, without a mark anywhere.  The Longines cal L674 (Valjoux 7750) 25-jewel movement maintains accurate time to a tolerance of two seconds per day, and the chronograph zeros and functions precisely.

This Honour and Glory Limited Edition set is complete with the massive (12 pound!) inner and outer display case, and all papers as well as descriptive literature.  It has a list price of $4,995!.  Saw another fellow trader had one set for sale for $3,130.  Save big with me, and It is yours for $2,288 plus $40 shipping/handling/insurance.  Sold!
