The Fortis Cosmonauts Chronograph was chosen as the official watch of the MIR and EUROMIR space missions.  This is a limited edition watch, one of only 350 watches issued to commemorate the MIR space mission.  It is Number 107 out of 350, as indicated on the 38mm x 14mm SS screw-back case with factory seal, water resistant to 20 atm.  This watch has a tachymeter scale on the bezel, and a handsome black dial with colorful graphics only seen on this special edition.  It has quickset day and date, four-register chronograph (the unusual being that it has a sixty-minute Chrono Minute Counter with a spacecraft minute hand instead of a thirty-minute sub-register as in its cousin Model 603) double-coated anti-glare sapphire crystal (making it practically invisible to the naked eyes - cool!), and screw-down pushers and signed screw-down crown.  This watch is on its original signed black leather strap with a signed tang type buckle.  It has the preferred Lemania 5100 automatic movement, with hour counter at six, subsidiary seconds at nine, 24-hour indication at twelve, and chronograph sweep minute and second hands.  All of the complications function precisely.  The entire watch is new and unworn, perfect in every way, with all boxes and papers (open warranty paper).  This brand new Fortis Cosmonaut Chronograph MIR Edition has a retail price of $2,800 USD if you can find it.  It is yours for $1,300 shipped within CONUS.  It will be great for both a dress watch as well as a sports model, not to mention that it is a limited edition.  Please contact Edward at el1998@hotmail.com if interested.  Many TZ references and NAWCC member.
