NIB SS Automatic Fortis Flieger Chronograph GMT C.O.S.C. with Original SS Bracelet Deeply Discounted!!! $1,495 ($3,250 list) + $25 (S/H/I)
Very popular and characteristically designed watches with an aviation and space theme, Fortis "The Official Watch of the Cosmonauts" can be seen and worn anywhere.... Outer Space - Under the Sea - Flying at record speeds and heights - They are simply amazing and highly collectible!!!
This is a top-of-the-line Fortis chronograph with multiple complications you don't often see. It is a chronometer-certified three-register chronograph with an additional register to track a second time zone or GMT time. The SS screwback case is 40mm in diameter and 14.5mm thick, with sapphire display back showing the beautiful and intrigued movement inside, water resistant to 100 meters. The optional solid SS caseback with factory seal is included as well. The watch has a double-coated anti-glare sapphire crystal (making the crystal practically invisible to the naked eyes - well done!) and non-screw down signed over-sized crown and pushers. The matching SS bracelet has fliplock deployant clasp, six screw links and a diver's wet-suit extension, and it is long enough for an eight inch wrist. This watch is new and unworn, perfect in every way, having been purchased from a retired Fortis dealer. It is wrapped in its factory plastic with all boxes and papers including its original COSC certificate in a hard leather folder, and has a retail price of $3,250 USD with the recent price increase by Fortis. Now is yours for $1,495 plus $25 shipping/handling/insurance. A 54% off!
This watch as two special features in addition to a three-register chronograph with quick-set date:
Second time zone (GMT)
In addition to being equipped with
24-hr-display, this chronograph is provided for the adjustment of time zones: the
24-hr display can be used as a second, separately adjustable time zone (GMT) and
is a sensible facilitation for traveling and for communication with far away
countries. (GMT = Greenwich Mean Time)
Chronometer Certificate C.O.S.C.
The independent institution tests the
accuracy of the run of the finely set movement in various positions. A
certificate confirms the preciseness of the movement and also states the number
engraved on the movements bridge of each movement.
