The Fortis Cosmonauts Chronograph was chosen as the official watch of the MIR and EUROMIR space missions.  This is a limited edition watch, one of only 300 watches distributed worldwide to commemorate the Space Station ISS.  It is Number 45 out of 300, as indicated on the 38mm x 14mm SS screw-back case, water resistant to 20 atm.  It is in a 38mm x 14mm satin finished SS screw back case, water resistant to 20 atm.  This watch has a tachymeter scale on the 18K brushed gold bezel and 18K gold pushers and screw-down crown.  The black dial has an image of the international space station circling the earth at nine, only seen on this special edition.  This watch has all the desirable features, quickset day and date, four-register chronograph (the unusual being that it has a sixty-minute Chrono Minute Counter with a spacecraft minute hand instead of a thirty-minute sub-register as in its cousin Model 603) double-coated anti-glare sapphire crystal (making it practically invisible to the naked eyes - cool!).  This watch is on its original signed black leather strap with a signed tang type buckle.  It has the preferred Lemania 5100 automatic movement, with hour counter at six, subsidiary seconds at nine, 24-hour indication at twelve, and chronograph sweep minute and second hands, accurate to two seconds per day.  All of the complications function precisely.  The entire watch is in high near-mint 95% condition.  It will be sold with an outer box, a beautiful wooden display case and all papers.
