NIB SS Automatic Fortis Flieger Chronograph with Alarm Complication and Original SS Signed Bracelet Deeply Discounted!!!

Very popular and characteristically designed watches with an aviation and space theme, Fortis  "The Official Watch of the Cosmonauts" can be seen and worn anywhere....  Outer Space - Under the Sea - Flying at record speeds and heights - They are simply amazing and highly collectible!!!

This is a top-of-the-line Fortis watch, a three-register automatic chronograph with alarm complication and quickset date.  It is in a 40mm x 15mm SS case with sapphire crystal display back showing the beautiful and intrigued movement inside, water resistant to 100 meters.  The optional solid SS signed caseback with factory seal is included as well.  It has a sapphire crystal anti-glare coating on both sides practically making the crystal invisible to the naked eyes (cool!), an over-sized non-screw-down crown (making it easy to make adjustments) and three non-screw-down pushers.  The bracelet has six screw links and a diver's extension.  This watch is new and unworn, perfect in every way, having been purchased from a retired Fortis dealer.  The Fortis cal F2001 32-jewel automatic movement is accurate to three seconds a day, and all of the complications function precisely.  This new, unworn automatic chronograph alarm watch, wrapped in its factory plastic with all boxes and papers (open warranty paper), has a list price of $4,350 USD.  Discounted retailers sell this watch in the $3,000 range.  You can save many hundreds for $2,450 shipped within CONUS.  A watch with these mechanical complications is not often seen in this price range at all!

Special note: In 1998, Fortis produced the world's first automatic chronograph with integrated mechanical alarm.  The idea for this innovation was developed in partnership with the cosmonauts of the Yuri A. Gagarin training center in Star City, Russia.  These two very useful functions are combined in a brilliant way.  Two barrels are wound up by the rotor with the same intensity.  This allows the alarm to run up to 25 seconds without draining the power reserve of other watch functions.  Alarm time is indicated by an additional, centrally positioned hand which is set by the crown.  The push-button located at the 8 o'clock position activates and interrupts the alarm.  A colored window located next to the date indicates the alarm is set. When black, the alarm is disarmed.
