Mint-In-Box SS/SS Dubey & Schaldenbrand Gran Chrono Astro with Bracelet, All Boxes and Papers!!!    $3,495 ($9,950 list) + $50 (S/H/I)

Dubey & Schaldenbrand was established in Switzerland by Georges Dubey and René Schaldenbrand in 1946, and is today headed by Cinette Robert, the great granddaughter of the renowned watchmaker Meylan LeCoultre.  This lineage reflects the craftsmanship and skill with which the firm produces high-end mechanical timepieces in limited editions today.

The Dubey & Schaldenbrand Gran Chrono Astro is a limited-edition top of the line triple-date moonphase automatic chronograph with hand-engraved movement (lots of handy works done there by D&S!), guilloche dial, and exquisite attention to detail.  This piece comes on original full length stainless steel bracelet, with original double boxes and papers.

Here are the details: DUBEY & SCHALDENBRAND SS/SS Gran Chrono Astro Triple Date Moonphase Automatic Chronograph - mint 38x50 signed stainless steel Cintrée curvex display back case with chronograph push buttons at 2:00 and 4:00 and day push button at 10:00, signed 25-jewel hand-engraved Valjoux 7751 triple-date calendar moonphase automatic chronograph movement, Incabloc, "chronometer-quality", 2 counter sub-dials (30 minutes counter, 12 hours counter), date indicated with a hand, day and month calendar windows at 12:00, moon phase at 6:00, domed sapphire crystal exhibition case back, skeletonized rotor, blued-steel screws. Water resistant to 30 meters.  Mint white original gorgeous guilloche dial with day and month apertures set within round chronograph minutes register at 12:00, moonphase aperture set within round chronograph hours register at 6:00, silver and luminous "Losanges diamantés" dagger hands and chronograph sweep seconds, with date hand pointing to outer date chapter ring, domed and curved sapphire crystal, signed original crown, full length stainless steel deployant clasp buckle.

The Dubey & Schaldenbrand "Gran'Chrono Astro" adds to the complication of the Gran Chrono a full triple-date (day, date, month) combined with the phases of the moon.  These added complications are fitted in the same ergonomic case where even pushers were specially designed to ensure maximum ease and aesthetics.

Due to its double curvature, the making of the case requires no less than 90 operations and required 16 months to produce the final prototype.  The "Gran'Chrono Astro" exclusive guilloche dial required the same painstaking process and is achieved in no less than 85 different steps.

This is a massive and highly complicated high grade Swiss timepiece, and the attention to quality and detail on this piece is extraordinary.  The watch is functioning flawlessly and is mint in condition (97%+) throughout, not a scratch whatsoever with the unsized bracelet.  Even though it is pre-owned, I double if anyone has worn the watch, certainly not me.  The bracelet costs more than the strap which normally comes with the Gran Astro.  Comes with original double boxes, including a beautiful burled walnut inner wooden jewelry box, and all papers, including Certificat D'Authenticite signed by Cinette Robert, International Guarantee card with matching limited edition number (No. 1165) , and full instructions.  I had sold a strap one at a higher price before.

This is a fine fine luxury dress watch which you can proudly display in any occasion!  Desirably collectible!
